Love Your Local Schools is simple – when you make a gift to support resources in Forest Hills Public Schools, you receive a #DiscoverAda Love Your Local Gift Card for 50% of your gift amount, valid at more than 18 participating businesses.

• $200 Donation = $100 Gift Card
• $100 Donation = $50 Gift Card
• $50 Donation = $25 Gift Card

What does my gift support in Forest Hills Public Schools?

Your gift directly supports classroom grants and innovative learning opportunities for FHPS students—things like hands-on STEAM programs, wellness initiatives, literacy tools, and other resources that go above and beyond what state funding provides.

How does the gift card work?

You’ll receive a Love Your Local digital gift card that can be used at more than 18 participating Ada businesses. It works just like a regular prepaid card—present it when you shop or dine, and your balance will update automatically. *Please note that your donation must be made at the unique link on this page to receive your gift card.*

When / how will I receive my gift card?

Love Your Local gift cards are processed daily at 3pm EST. If you do not receive your digital gift to the email address provided within 48 hours of submitting your gift, please contact the Foundation office at (616) 493-8500 or imickelsen@fhps.net.

Can I buy multiple gift cards?

Yes! You can make multiple donations, and each qualifying gift will include a 50% value gift card.

Can I donate without receiving a gift card?

Absolutely! If you’d prefer to make a fully tax-deductible donation without receiving a gift card, simply note that in your donation form.
