Thank You for Another Great Year to Our Board of Trustees

As we wrap up another great year, we would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the dedicated members of the Forest Hills Public Schools Foundation Board of Trustees. As a nonprofit organization, we rely heavily on the tireless work and commitment of our board members, who volunteer their time and expertise to support our mission. Nonprofit board members play a critical role in guiding the strategic direction, ensuring financial stability, and advocating for the organization's goals. Their efforts make it possible for us to continue enhancing educational opportunities for all students in our community.

This year, we are especially grateful to Andy Keller, who has served as our Chairman of the Board. Andy has been an invaluable member of our board for the past six years. As a parent at Forest Hills Central and Goodwillie Environmental School, Andy's leadership and dedication have significantly impacted our foundation's success. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Brad Sturm, Forest Hills Northern parent, for his six years of tireless service. Brad's role as a board member and treasurer has been instrumental in maintaining our financial health and ensuring the effective use of our resources.

Our board is comprised of 18 members, with five representatives from each attendance area, alongside dedicated district liaisons. We are fortunate to have Jon Haga, the Central High School Principal, CJ Michaud, the Board of Education Treasurer, and the now-retired Interim Superintendent Sara Shubel as part of our team. Their insights and connections to the district are invaluable in aligning our foundation's efforts with the needs of our schools and students.

We are looking forward to the 2024-2025 school year, and the exciting changes on our board. For the coming year, we would like to welcome our newest Executive Committee members: Azia Mason (Chairman of the Board), Heidi Hendricks (Vice Chairman), Liz Burnson (Secretary), and Matt Osterhaven (Treasurer). The work of the executive committee is vital to the success of our organization, and we are grateful for their time, treasures, and talents.

Finally, thank you to each and every one of our trustees: Samantha Colley, Maegan Amato, Andrew Kim, Mike Frey, Jenn Ryan Caroline Tilton, CJ Michaud, Meghan Bisonet, and Ben Rapin. Your vision, hard work, and passion for our community drives the FHPS Foundation forward.
