100 for 100: Supporting Student Mental Health

Social media, the COVID-19 pandemic, and other factors have amplified students’ stress and isolation, while stigma continues to hinder many from seeking the necessary help. Join the FHPS Foundation and our esteemed panel for a community conversation around mental health awareness, education, resources, and strategies.

Join us for a morning of community support and education at "100 for 100: Supporting Student Mental Health," presented by the Forest Hills Public Schools Foundation!

Date: March 5th, 2024
Time: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM
Location: Watermark Country Club

Indulge in a breakfast buffet and refreshing beverages as we come together to focus on the mental well-being of our students.

During this one-hour program, gain valuable insights from our esteemed panel of experts:

  • Dr. Sarah Van't Hof, Forest Hills Central School Counselor
  • Alexandra Yonker, Pine Rest District Liaison
  • Mattie DeBoe, Pine Rest District Liaison
  • Jon Haeffele, Pine Rest District Liaison

Our goal is to address the current mental health landscape of students, offering education and awareness, practical strategies for addressing symptoms and behaviors linked to mental health concerns, prevention techniques, and a spotlight on the resources available within our community.

Sponsored by the Forest Hills Public Schools Foundation, this event is a collective effort to foster a supportive and informed community. By gathering 100 like-minded individuals, each purchasing a ticket at $100, we aim to collectively raise $10,000 to support the FHPS Foundation. Please join us in sparking conversation for positive change!
